Terms of Use
These terms set practical expectations for using Pinch, storing recipe content, and sharing it with other people.

Using Pinch
CookeryBook provides Pinch, a recipe-cleaning, formatting, conversion, storage, and sharing product. You may use the public tools without an account. A Google account is required for private cookbook features. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for keeping access to that account secure.
Your content
You retain ownership of original content you add. You give Pinch the limited permission needed to store, process, display, back up, and transmit that content solely to operate the features you request.
You must have the right to upload and share the recipes, images, videos, notes, and other material you submit. Keep source attribution where appropriate. Importing a recipe does not transfer ownership of the source material to you or to Pinch.
Acceptable use
- Do not probe, disrupt, overload, or bypass security or rate limits.
- Do not upload malware, unlawful material, or content that violates another person's rights.
- Do not use invitation links to harass recipients or send unsolicited bulk messages.
- Do not automate extraction or submission in a way that harms Pinch or third-party recipe sites.
- Do not misrepresent generated conversions or plans as professional medical, dietary, or food-safety advice.
Recipe results
Imports, quantity parsing, unit conversions, scaling, estimated pages, and other generated results may be incomplete or inaccurate. Review the original source, ingredient amounts, allergens, temperatures, cook times, and food-safety requirements before relying on a result. Pinch is a productivity tool, not a substitute for professional dietary, medical, or food-safety advice.
Third-party services
Pinch connects to third-party services for authentication, hosting, storage, email, analytics, rate limiting, and optional assistant features. Recipe links can also lead to third-party websites. Pinch does not control those services or their content, availability, or policies.
Availability and accounts
The service may change, experience interruptions, or discontinue a feature. Keep independent copies of recipes you cannot afford to lose. Pinch may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, or address misuse.
Account deletion and data requests can be initiated through thecontact page. Verification may be required before acting on a request.
Disclaimers and liability
Pinch is provided on an as-available basis without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Pinch is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service, loss of data, third-party content, or reliance on a generated recipe result. Rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.
Changes and contact
These terms may be updated as Pinch changes. Continued use after an updated version is published means the updated terms apply. Questions about these terms can be submitted through thecontact page.
